To record a message for a linkback/broadcast campaign, navigate to "voice message" under the messages button on the navigation bar and select "add message" in the top right corner.
Start by giving your message a name this will only be used internally. Next select "add message step" you will see 4 options for message creation. Select the option "custom text-to-speech" from the drop-down. Conversely, if you want to record a message in your own voice follow the article on how to Record A Linkback / Broadcast Message.
In the "text" box type out the message, you want to be read by the text-to-speech voices including punctuation where needed. If you are including a phone number in your message be sure to make it its own TTS segment and turn on the "Spell" toggle so it is configured correctly.
Inserting Field Text-To-Speech
If you want to customize messages to consumers with personal information such as their first name or account number, select the message creation step" Field Text-To-Speech." Once selected you will see a dropdown with default fields that can be added. If you don't see the option you want it can be added via the custom account fields page.
Be sure that you have selected a field for text-to-speech in your message to map that field when you are doing your contact list upload, otherwise, the message will not be read correctly.
