After a call, a disposition is required. If you are choosing ‘Apply’ on any disposition, this leaves the tab open with all the information still showing. You will use this option if you need to make notes or need the information shown for any reason. Once, you’re done with the information you will click ‘close tab’ at the bottom right of the screen.
If you are using the ‘apply and finish’ option, this will apply the disposition, end the call and close the tab. If you choose this option, you cannot get that tab back so make sure you only use this for dispositions that don’t require any further information.
If you are still having trouble leaving a disposition, be sure to check the following settings
- If you don't see a disposition you want to leave, make sure your manager has created it under custom dispositions
- If you are using click mini, you don't need to worry about leaving a disposition and will not see them pop up when you start a call
- If you apply a voicemail to a call it will automatically be dispositioned and you do not need to do so manually.
